Lettuce Rafts
Deep water culture is used to produce leafy
vegetables such as lettuce, spinach and herbs.
Production begins with sterilizing the greenhouse
deep water beds. Seedling plugs are then
propagated and grown through the initial stage.
Once the deep water circulating tanks are filled,
the plugs are transplanted into Beaver Plastics
Lettuce Rafts and floated in the tanks. Lettuce is
ready to harvest in 5 to 7 weeks. Beaver Plastics
soil-less hydroponic systems produce high-quality
crops. These cost-effective products are designed
