Willow, Shoreline Grasses,
Spatterdock,
Precautions: Avoid spray contact with
desirable plants
Signal Word: Caution
EPA No: 62719-324-67690
in 16 gallons of water for 1/2 acre of
pond or lake
• AquaPro is your best choice for
brush, cattail and other emergent plant problems
• AquaPro is a glyphosate-based herbicide for non-selective broadspectrum
weed control and is specially formulated for use around
aquatic environments, without harming fish
• A surfactant such as CideKick is recommended to be used with
AquaPro
Captain XTR®
Labeled for Aquatic weeds: Algae and
muskgrass/Chara
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes
Signal Word: Warning
EPA No: 67690-9
Rate: When pond is greater than 50% coverage,
spot treat using 10 gallons per acre; less
than 50% coverage, treat entire pond using 3
gallons per 1/2 acre
• Captain XTR is the best available technology
for the control of tough-to-control algae species
• Optimized to increase penetration of copper
into algae cells, especially challenging colonial and
mucilaginous forming species, such as Aphanizomenon,
Hydrodictyon Ocillatoria, Lyngbya and Microcystis
• Water treated with Captain XTR may be used for
swimming, fishing, watering livestock and irrigation
during and after application
Cide-Kick®
Aquatic & Pesticide Surfactant
Labeled for use with pesticides and aquatic
herbicides
Signal Word: Caution
• Cide-Kick is a nonionic adjuvant and is a wetting
agent, activator and penetrant all-in-one
• Cide-Kick helps break down the waxy cuticle on
the leaf’s surface and helps penetrate the bud and
bark area (of the woody brush), allowing a more
effective uptake of the herbicide
• Cide-Kick is compatible with most terrestrial and
aquatic herbicides and other pesticides
• In aquatic weed control, for surface weeds, use 1 pt to 2 qts to 100
gallons ; for submerged, use 1-2 gallons to 100 gallon
• For general applications, use a pint to 2 quarts per 100 gallons of
water
Clearcast®
Truck ship
only
Labeled for aquatic weeds: Easy-to-control
and hard-to-control, emersed weeds, such
as Dollarweed, Pondweed, Water hyacinth,
Creeping Water Primrose, Alligatorweed,
Pennywort, Water Lily, etc
Precautions: Avoid eye contact and breathing mist
Signal Word: Caution
EPA no: 241-437-67690
Rate: Use 32 ounces Clearcast and 16 ounces of
MSO in 20 gallons of water per 1/2 acre
• Clearcast effectively controls floating, emergent
and shoreline weeds, shoreline weed species,
and is the best product for controlling cattails and phragmites.
• Recommended to be used with MSO or methylated seed oil found
under surfactants.
Komeen® Crystal
Labeled for Aquatic weeds: Coontail, Elodea,
Hydrilla, Naiads, Pondweed, Water Hyacinth,
Eurasian Watermilfoil.
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes and
breathing dust.
Signal Word: Danger; EPA no: 67690-60
Rate: 1-3 20 lb. bags per acre
• Komeen Crystals are a concentrated, chelated
copper formulation.
• This product works by shutting down
photosynthesis and disrupting cell integrity
• The high concentration, quick copper release granular formulation,
optimizes product exposure in the area where weeds and bottomdwelling
algae are growing
• Water-treated with Komeen, can be used immediately after
treatment for irrigation, fishing, swimming and recreation
Komeen® Liquid
Labeled for Aquatic weeds: Coontail, Elodea,
Hydrilla, Naiads, Pondweed, Water Hyacinth,
Eurasian Watermilfoil
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes
Signal Word: Danger; EPA No: 67690-25
Rate: 6 gallons/4 gallons of water to apply to 1/2
acre pond
• Concentrated, chelated copper formulation
• Works by shutting down photosynthesis and
disrupting cell integrity
• The high concentration, quick copper release
granular formulation, optimizes product exposure in the area
where weeds and bottom-dwelling algae are growing
• Water-treated with Komeen, can be used
immediately after treatment for irrigation, fishing,
swimming and recreation
SeClear®
Labeled for Aquatic weeds: Algae control and
water quality enhancer.
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes and
breathing mist
Signal Word: Danger; EPA No: 67690-55
Rate: When a pond is less than 50% coverage
with algae, use 6.5 gallons SeClear to 1/2 acre;
greater than 50% coverage, use 20 gallons per
acre.
• The first all-in-one algaecide and water quality
enhancer approved by the US EPA
• Because of eutrophication (excessive richness of nutrients in
a body of water), successful management of nuisance algae
and improving water quality can be difficult
• By treating the algae present and reducing the
amount of available phosphorous and suspended
solids with each application, SeClear has been documented to
provide algae control, longer intervals between applications, smaller
follow-up applications and better water quality
SeClear® G
Labeled for Aquatic weeds: Algae control and
water quality enhancer.
Precautions: Avoid contact with eyes breathing dust
Signal Word: Warning; EPA No: 67690-72
Rate: Use 2 - 18 lbs per acre foot of water
• SeClear G Algaecide and Water Quality
Enhancer provides effective control of
surface and bottom algae while inactivating
phosphorus and enhancing water quality
• Because of eutrophication (excessive richness
of nutrients in a body of water), successful
management of nuisance algae and improving water quality
can be difficult
• The new granule formulation provides all of the proven
algaecidal and water quality enhancement benefits
with several improvements: by reducing the
amount of available phosphorous and suspended
solids with each application
