Hummert’s A-Z Pre-Fab Steam Structure
In most climates a water filled boiler cannot be left
outside or drained sufficiently to prevent water from
freezing and breaking components. While there are
all-weather boilers they are big and complex and still
do not have the additional pieces required to perform
Aerated steaming. The Hummert Steam Structure
combines a custom prefabricated structure with all of
the components needed to create a turn-key steam
system. The structure can be built to comply with
local building codes. The structure will arrive at your
location on a flatbed truck, a small crane is used to
lift it off the truck and set it in location. It has been
designed to be both set on a concrete pad or have
its legs extended down into holes in the ground and
soil compacted. The structure will need to connect to
electrical (100 amp-220 volt), water and drain. Many
custom options are available.

• Built and assembled in a temperature controlled 800,000
square foot manufacturing facility.
• Other than a few purchased pieces all parts are made
in-house for the specific building size.
• 8 temperature probes hang on the bracket next to the door
to insert into the treatment cart.
• Custom sizes are available.
• Treatment carts sold separately.
• Size and quantity of carts will depend on the volume material
to be treated.

• Steam is provided by a Sioux SF-11 Boiler, fueled by
either natural gas or propane.
• Stainless Steel double wall piping is used to vent the
exhaust outside the unit

• For assured safety, the structure has both
CO and LP/NG Gas Detectors.
• The stack light, mounted outside, next to
the door, will light solid red for CO and flash
red with a siren if LP/NG Gas is detected.
