Give Young Plants a Stronger Start
FlexiPlugs are created by blending the highest quality peat with other
organics and a foam binder. The result is a stabilized propagation
medium that promotes faster rooting for cuttings while providing the
consistent moisture needed for seed germination.
This optimal environment is a result of the FlexiPlug’s aeration
and water retention capabilities. The pH balanced plug also
contains micronutrients and active biologicals so it has all the
elements needed to promote healthy root growth and young
plant vigor. FlexiPlugs are an ideal growing medium for traditional
greenhouse and hydroponic growers. Plugs remain stable in
hydroponic production and won’t clog filters.

A Microgreen Propagation Felt
This lightweight biobased textile is designed for the hydroponic production
of microgreens and salad greens. BioStrate absorbs and retains water while
providing an optimal environment for dense healthy root development. Their
blend of biopolymers and natural fibers are designed to manage water efficiently
for optimal growth in a variety of hydroponic systems.
BioStrate is compostable*. However, it will maintain its structural integrity for the
entire crop cycle and won’t clog filters. Custom widths and shapes are available.
Directions for Use:
• Moisten BioStrate® Felt with mist or a quick dip in a water bath. Let excess water drain
• Sprinkle seeds to the desired density, then mist. BioStrate can support tightly packed seedlings
• Place in germinating area for 48 hours or as needed
• BioStrate performs best when not overwatered. The amount of water will vary
depending on the system used. The felt should be kept moist, not saturated. Water level
should not be higher than the top of the medium. If water pools in the felt, reduce water
