Electric Unit Heaters<br />

Horizontal Delivery<br />

Modine heating units<br />

MOTOR – The totally enclosed, thermally protected,<br />

continuous-duty motor is specially mounted for<br />

quiet operation and extended service life. Motor is<br />

selected to match fan requirements.<br />

FAN – The large-bladed, lightweight aluminum fan<br />

is connected directly to the motor shaft, and is both<br />

dynamically and statically balanced.<br />

HEATING ELEMENTS – For maximum heat<br />

transfer and longer life, the sheathed nichrome wire<br />

heating elements are spirally wound and staggered<br />

within the unit to provide even air distribution.<br />

SAFETY FAN GUARD – Formed from heavy rod<br />

stock, the fan guard eliminates the hazards of an<br />

exposed fan. Resiliently mounted to the unit casing,<br />

the guard provides a rigid support for the motor.<br />

AUTOMATIC RESETTING OVERHEAT<br />

CONTROL – Interrupts power to heating elements<br />

in event of overheating and automatically<br />

resets itself.<br />
