Grounds Wheelie Turf Sprayers

A versatile line of liquid-chemical sprayers for spreading fertilizers,
herbicides, growth regulators, fungicides, insecticides and soil-wetting
agents to turf and soil surfaces. All three models listed below feature
a motorless, ground-driven pumping system that does not require
gasoline, batteries, cords or water hoses. that pumps solutions
through 2 fan nozzles that deliver 1 gallon of solution to 1000 sq ft.
They work well at a comfortable walking speed of 2 to 3 mph. When
sprayers are pulled or pushed forward, spray material is dispensed.
When motion stops, spraying stops. Each nozzle is equipped with
shut-off controls, located on the handle grips, allowing the operator
to use the nozzles independently. The shut-off valves feature stainless
steel sleeves and plungers. With this feature, one nozzle may be
turned off when passing an area such as a flower bed to keep it from
being exposed to any drift. They're quiet, easy to operate, accurate
and apply chemical solutions evenly.
Lawn Wheelie
Model WS-250
A 2.5-gallon push-type sprayer. It is used to
apply liquid fertilizers, herbicides, insecticides,
fungicides and growth regulators. The grounddriven
pumping system delivers a 36” fan of
solution at the rate of 1000 sq ft per gallon.
This unit is most popular with lawn care
professionals for use in confined areas
near buildings, shrubs, and decorative
plantings. The 2.5 gallon tank with covers
approximately 2500 sq ft.
Grounds Wheelie II
Model WS-485
A 6-gallon push sprayer designed for
professional grounds maintenance. Equipped
with shut-off controls on the handle grips
and extra-large tires to make pushing easier
in tall southern grasses or on hilly, uneven
terrain. The twin-wheel pumps, spray a fan
of solution 72" wide, at the rate of 1000 sq ft
per gallon. The 6-gallon tank-full will cover
approximately 6000 sq ft.
Greens Wheelie
Model WS-490
A 10-gallon, push-type commercial unit is
equipped with motorless ground-driven
pumping system & larger easy-to-push
pneumatic rubber tires, a 10 gallon thickwall
tank, and wide mouth lid for easy filling
and cleaning. The pumping system and the
10 gallon tank are constructed of corrosive
resistant materials. Used extensively by golf
course professionals. The twin wheel pump
sprays a fan of solution 6’ wide. Covers 10,000
sq ft.

Turf Wheelie II - Model WS-495
• A motor-less system
• It is similar to the WS-490 Greens Wheelie with its 10 gallon tank,
ground-driven pumping system, and large turf type tires
• Features a tow bar to pull the unit behind a tractor or riding mower, with
shut-off controls convenient to the operator
• The pumping system and the 10 gallon tank are constructed of corrosive
-resistant materials
• This well-built unit is used to apply liquid fertilizers, herbicides, fungicides
and growth regulators
• The twin wheel driven pump, sprays a fan of solution 6' wide, at the rate
of 1000 sq ft per gallon
• Delivers chemical applications that are relative to the speed at which the
sprayer is pulled
• The faster it is pulled, the faster it pumps. When the operator stops, the
sprayer stops pumping
• The spray pattern (72") is delivered from (2) nozzles in the form of small
droplets, providing a steady, uniform application, greatly reducing costly
chemical drifting
• The shut-off controls allow the operator to use the nozzles
independently
