Hummert International is proud to present our very own private label grass seed, the
DYNA GREEN GRASS SEED LINE. It is important to understand the benefits, whether
the home owner, landscaper, or a dealer that is selling this premium line, one should
understand all the benefits and highlights of using these products.
• The fescue blends and fescue blue mixes are part of the
A-LIST. The A-LIST stands for Alliance for Low Input
Sustainable Turf. This means that these blends and
mixes meet the criteria and a higher standard than most
seeds in regard to not needing as much water, fertilizer,
and pesticides, to grow them properly.
• The fescue blends and mixes have at least 50% Lateral
Spread ability. That means that the fescues have the
capability to spread through rhizome capabilities.
• Achieving all of these qualities, having better packaging,
and competitive pricing was the goal in bringing this
product to market.

Dyna Green TM Fescue & Blue Mix For Sun
• Contains: Dynamite LS 20%, Firecracker SLS 40%, Avenger II 30% for fescues and
Volt 10% for Bluegrass
• Characteristics: High-quality mix that produces a thick, lush, dark-green stand of turf.
• Tolerance/Resistance: This mix was designed according to research by the University of Missouri that
states adding 10% bluegrass to fescue blends greatly reduces disease especially brown patch. It also has
great drought and wear tolerance.
• Benefits: This is a high-premium turf, specifically
designed for mid-west conditions. It performs well
in tough environments.
• NTEP and University tested
• Light: Full sun to partial shade
• Fertilization Requirements: 3-4 lbs per 1,000 sq ft
per year
• Germination: 7-10 days
• New Seeding Rate: 8 lbs per 1,000 sq ft
• Overseeding Rate: 5 lbs per 1,000 sq ft

for hard fescues, Zinger 10% for bluegrass
• Characteristics: This mix is an excellent shade mix with great, dark-green color and
high drought tolerance
• Tolerance/Resistance: This mix has high disease
resistance, wear tolerance, and is drought tolerant
• Benefits: This mix is specifically for shade areas
and creates a thick, green turf environment that
recovers quickly.
