NEW GEAT OFFICE IN MILAN
GEAT Elevators, a company headquartered
in Naples, continues to expand its branch
network. After Florence
and Turin, it opened a new
branch in Cernusco sul
Naviglio (in the province
of Milan) in January 2023.
The inauguration event
was held on Friday 10
February at the GEAT
Elevators headquarters in
Via Amilcare Ponchielli, 2/A - Cernusco sul
Naviglio (MI).

GEAT Elevators, società che ha la sua sede
principale a Napoli, continua ad ampliare
la rete di filiali. Dopo
Firenze e Torino, nel mese
di gennaio 2023 ha aperto
infatti la nuova sede a
Cernusco sul Naviglio
(in provincia di Milano).
L’evento di inaugurazione si
è tenuto venerdì 10 febbraio
presso la sede GEAT
Elevators in Via Amilcare Ponchielli, 2/A -
Cernusco sul Naviglio (MI).
LIFT & ESCALATOR SYMPOSIUM:
CALL FOR PAPERS
The Lift & Escalator Symposium Trust has
announced that the 14 th Lift & Escalator
Technology Symposium will be held on 20
and 21 September 2023 in Northampton, UK.
The Call for Papers
is already open: those
wishing to present a
paper must first submit
an abstract of up to
300 words by 31 March
2023. Abstracts from practitioners, academics
and postgraduate students are welcome. The
abstract must state the names of the authors,
title of the paper, objectives, methodology
used, main results and conclusions of the
research.

dovrà prima di tutto inviare
un abstract di massimo 300
parole entro il 31 marzo 2023.
Sono benvenuti gli abstract di professionisti,
accademici e studenti post-laurea. L’abstract
deve indicare i nomi degli autori, il titolo
dell’articolo, gli obiettivi, la metodologia
utilizzata, i risultati principali e le conclusioni

The family-owned company Mayr
Antriebstechnik in Mauerstetten (Germany)
has bid farewell to
its senior boss Fritz
Mayr, who passed
away on 18 January
2023 at the age of 96,
after more than half a
century as managing
director.
The entrepreneur,
brilliant engineer and
visionary, not only
played a decisive
role in developing
power transmission
technology
worldwide, but was
also a very special
man who stood by his
values.

ha dato l’addio
all’anziano capo Fritz
Mayr, che si è spento il
18 gennaio 2023 all’età
di 96 anni, dopo oltre
mezzo secolo di attività
come amministratore
delegato.
L’imprenditore,
ingegnere brillante e
visionario ha svolto
un ruolo decisivo
nello sviluppo
della tecnologia di
trasmissione di potenza
a livello mondiale. Un
uomo speciale che
ha difeso i propri
valori.
