least, and this will be increasingly important,
the continuous monitoring of systems will allow
us to reduce our environmental impact and thus
we will be able to produce less CO2 from our
cars if we can eliminate unnecessary travel.
For example, we are already today able to
verify the actual state of the installation before
following up a call on installations that are
then functional when the technician arrives or
that have minor, nonsafety problems that can be
resolved during normal maintenance.
What initiatives is ANIE AssoAscensori
implementing to promote accessibility?
In a society such as ours, accessibility is
fundamental to ensure equal opportunities for
participation in social and economic life, and
for an association representing the vertical
and horizontal mobility sector it is an essential
objective. At the moment, our institutional
activity is focused on making access to
incentives easier for homeowners, professionals
and operators in the sector. It is certainly a
good thing that the Government has extended
the 75 per cent incentive for the removal of
architectural barriers, but a fundamental step
to make it truly effective is the revision
of DM 236/89.
Precisely in order to answer the questions
of companies and end customers, we have
recently set up a ‘Tax Regulations Commission’
in the Association, entrusting it with the task
of supporting us in the correct interpretation
and application of tax regulations, especially
in the case of works aimed at the removal of
architectural barriers.
We are also active participants in ELA (our
European association of reference) working
groups dedicated to accessibility. Finally, we
have an interesting collaboration with the
University of Pavia that allows us to involve
students and, we hope, ‘make proselytes’, i.e.
future lift operators.
Are Italian companies ready for the new ISO
8100 Standards?
Knowledge of the new international standard
is still very limited and there is a risk that the
future entry into force may find many of the
industry’s operators unprepared.
Also for this reason, AssoAscensori is
planning to publish a guide to the application
of the new ISO 8100 Standard. In fact, infotraining
activity has always been one of the
paradigms of the Association, which invests
many resources to provide adequate training
to the sector as a whole by organising courses,
training days, and publishing guides and
manuals, for the benefit of all operators in the
sector and not only of member companies.
Concluding remarks on the Italian market in
2023.
As already mentioned, incentives will continue
guasto. Non ultimo, e sarà sempre più importante,
il monitoraggio continuo degli impianti permetterà
di ridurre l’impatto ambientale e quindi saremo in
grado di produrre meno CO2 da auto se riusciremo
a eliminare gli spostamenti non necessari. Ad
esempio, siamo già oggi in grado di verificare
l’effettivo stato dell’impianto prima di dare seguito
a una chiamata su impianti che risultino poi
funzionanti all’arrivo del tecnico o che presentino
problemi minori, non di sicurezza, risolvibili
durante una normale manutenzione.
Quali iniziative sta attuando ANIE AssoAscensori
per promuovere l’accessibilità?
In una società come la nostra, l’accessibilità è
fondamentale per assicurare uguali opportunità
di partecipazione alla vita sociale ed economica
e per un’associazione che rappresenta il settore
della mobilità verticale e orizzontale è un
obiettivo imprescindibile. In questo momento
la nostra attività istituzionale è focalizzata a
rendere più semplice l’accesso agli incentivi
previsti per proprietari di casa, professionisti e
operatori del settore. È sicuramente un bene che il
Governo abbia prorogato l’incentivo al 75% per
l’abbattimento delle barriere architettoniche, ma
un passo fondamentale per renderlo veramente
efficace è la revisione del DM 236/89.
Proprio per rispondere ai quesiti delle aziende e
dei clienti finali, abbiamo di recente costituito
in Associazione una ‘Commissione Norme
Tributarie’ affidandole il compito di supportarci
nella corretta interpretazione e applicazione
della normativa fiscale, soprattutto nel caso di
opere finalizzate all’abbattimento delle barriere
architettoniche.
Siamo inoltre partecipanti attivi ai gruppi di
lavoro ELA (la nostra associazione europea
di riferimento) dedicati all’accessibilità.
Abbiamo infine una interessante collaborazione
con l’Università di Pavia che ci permette di
coinvolgere studenti e, speriamo, “fare proseliti”,
futuri ascensoristi.
Le aziende italiane sono pronte per le nuove
Norme ISO 8100?
La conoscenza del nuovo standard internazionale
è ancora molto limitata e c’è il rischio che la
futura entrata in vigore possa trovare impreparati
molti degli operatori del settore.
Anche per questo, AssoAscensori ha in cantiere
la pubblicazione di una guida all’applicazione
delle nuove Norme ISO 8100. Da sempre, infatti,
l’attività di info-formazione rappresenta uno dei
paradigmi dell’Associazione che investe molte
risorse per fornire un’adeguata formazione al settore
nel suo complesso mediante l’organizzazione di
corsi, giornate formative e la pubblicazione di
guide e manuali, a beneficio di tutti gli operatori del
settore e non solo delle aziende associate.
Riflessione conclusiva sul mercato italiano del
2023.
Come già detto, gli incentivi continueranno
