อาคารที่มีการใช้พลังงานสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ หรือ Net Zero
Emission Building จึงเป็นเรื่องใหญ่และมีมิติต่าง ๆ ที่
เกี่ยวข้องมากมายหลายระดับ การตระหนักถึงความสำาคัญ
ตื่นตัว และลุกขึ้นมาปรับเปลี่ยน ตลอดจนจัดการกับปัญหานี้
อย่างจริงจัง เป็นหน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบของผู้มีส่วนได้ส่วนเสีย
ทุกคนในอุตสาหกรรมการก่อสร้าง รวมทั้งสถาปนิกด้วย
คณะสถาปัตยกรรมศาสตร์และการผังเมือง มหาวิทยาลัย
ธรรมศาสตร์ ร่วมกับ บริษัท เอสซีจี ซิเมนต์-ผลิตภัณฑ์
ก่อสร้าง จำากัด ได้ร่วมกันจัดทำาหนังสือ แนวทางการ
ออกแบบอาคารที่มีการใช้พลังงานสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ (Net Zero
Building Guidelines) หนังสือขนาดกระทัดรัด อ่านง่าย ที่
ให้ข้อมูลพื้นฐานและความรู้เบื้องต้นเกี่ยวกับอาคารที่มีการใช้
พลังงานสุทธิเป็นศูนย์ เป็นหลักการและข้อแนะนำ าให้ผู้อ่านได้
ไอเดียในการดำาเนินไปสู่เป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าชคาร์บอน-
ไดออกไซด์สุทธิเป็นศูนย์ของอาคารและ built environment
ซึ่งเป็นภาคส่วนสำาคัญที่สามารถสร้างผลกระทบความ
เปลี่ยนแปลงไปสู่การพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืนได้
เนื้อหาในหนังสือแบ่งออกเป็น 6 บทสั้น ๆ ประกอบด้วย
1. Background ให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับที่มาและความสำาคัญของ
การปล่อยก๊าชคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์เป็นศูนย์
2. Greenhouse gas emission from buildings อธิบายถึง
ก๊าชเรือนกระจกที่ถูกปล่อยจากอาคาร ซึ่งเนื้อหาประกอบด้วย
รายละเอียดการปล่อยคาร์บอนรูปแบบต่าง ๆ
3. Initial pathways นำาเสนอแนวทางเบื้องต้นในการออกแบบ
เพื่อเป้าหมายการปล่อยก๊าชคาร์บอนไดออกไซด์สุทธิเป็น
ศูนย์ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย แนวทางการออกแบบ คาร์บอนสะสม
ตั้งต้น การเลือกใช้ระบบปรับอากาศ ระบบไฟฟ้าแสงสว่าง
และอุปกรณ์เครื่องใช้ไฟฟ้าประสิทธิภาพสูง ตลอดจนการใช้
พลังงานหมุนเวียน (renewable energy) ในอาคาร
4. Case Studies ให้ตัวอย่างกรณีศึกษาโครงการในประเทศ
และต่างประเทศที่ประสบความสำาเร็จในการอกแบบและ
ดำาเนินโครงการตามแนวทางการออกแบบอาคารที่มีการใช้
พลังงานสุทธิเป็นศูนย์
5. Driving forces ให้ข้อมูลแรงขับเคลื่อนสำาคัญในการ

ในอุตสาหกรรมสิ่งแวดล้อมสรรค์สร้างควรพิจารณา
Buildings with net zero energy use or net zero
emission buildings are a big issue and have many
dimensions involving many levels. Recognizing the
importance of being alert, getting up for change,
and seriously dealing with this problem is the
responsibility of every stakeholder in the construction
industry, including architects.
Thammasat Design School and SCG Cement-
Building Products have jointly prepared a book
titled Net Zero Building Guidelines. This compact,
easy-to-read book provides basic information and
basic knowledge about buildings with net zero
energy use. It provides principles and recommendations
for readers to get ideas on reaching the
goal of net zero carbon dioxide emissions from
buildings and the built environment, which are
important sectors that can create impactful change
towards sustainable development.
The content of the book is divided into 6 short
chapters:
1. Background: provides information on the origins
and importance of zero carbon dioxide emissions.
2. Greenhouse gas emissions from buildings:
describe greenhouse gases emitted from buildings.
The content contains details on various forms of
carbon emissions.
3. Initial pathways: provide initial guidelines for
designing towards net-zero carbon dioxide emissions,
including design guidelines, initial accumulated
carbon, choosing an air conditioning system,
electrical lighting systems, high-efficiency electrical
appliances, and using renewable energy in the
building.
4. Case Studies: provide studies of domestic and
international projects that have successfully
designed and implemented projects following netzero
energy building design guidelines.
5. Driving forces: provides information on essential
driving forces in pushing towards the net zero
carbon dioxide emissions goal.
6. Next step: what steps we should take as stakeholders
in the built environment industry.
