Given the building’s prominent façade, the design
team devised a strategy to foster meaningful engagement
between the structure and the surrounding
community. In addition to the lush green space, the
front-facing façade boasts a magnificent 8x8-meter
LED screen. This cutting-edge display showcases
real-time information, providing passersby and
community members with daily weather updates,
including temperature, rain forecasts, and PM 2.5
levels. Furthermore, this dynamic screen serves as
a platform for emergency notices, ensuring that
crucial information reaches individuals swiftly and
efficiently. By embracing the rapid generation and
distribution of information, the design aligns with
the demands of today’s world, enabling the assessment
of future scenarios with remarkable speed and
effectiveness. The selection of materials employed
corresponds with the functions and concepts of
social sustainability principles, along with the creative
integration of technology and material innovations.
The architecture team wisely chose to employ locally
sourced materials, thereby minimizing the carbon
footprint associated with international transportation.
The architects have made a deliberate choice to
incorporate recycled materials, such as the fabrics
used in interior decoration and furniture. Meanwhile,
landscape architecture’s use of materials such as
permeable concrete is reflective of its endeavor to
employ and embrace new materials that are more
innovative and sustainable.
