3.1 Simplified Operation of the <strong>VF</strong>-<strong>FS1</strong><br />

The procedures for setting operation frequency and the methods of operation can be selected from the following.<br />

LOC<br />

Local mode : When Local mode selected by REM<br />

key, start and stop, and frequency setting are<br />

effective only by operation panel keys.<br />

The LOC/REM key lamp is lit while Local mode selected.<br />

Remote mode : Start and stop, and frequency setting follow the selection of (Command<br />

mode),or (Frequency setting mode).<br />

*1 At default setting, the switching between Local mode and Remote mode is effective. When prohibiting this<br />

function, refer to the chapter 6.20.1.<br />

*2 At default setting, when switched from remote of start or stop and running frequency at Remote mode are<br />

shifted to Local mode. When changing from Local mode to Remote mode, the inverter can start in case of<br />

running mode selection at remote side. In case of prohibiting this function. ⇒ See section 6.10.<br />

*3 The status of Local/Remote mode is memoried when power off.<br />
