Perfect Tense, negatively<br />

284. The negative is formed by simply prefixing the neg¬<br />

ative particle j or \j . Examples. "3^ y^ (amin na-bii-w-<br />

(i)m) 'I have not been', S3y y^ (atii na-bû-w-i) 'thou hast<br />

not been' , ejy jl (aii na-bii-w-a) 'he, she, it has not been', etc.<br />
