Note. When the personal ending is suffixed, the accent on that<br />

ending causes the _J (k) to be sounded naturally; but in the imper¬<br />

fect tense no personal ending is employed, and consequently there is<br />

no accent, and therefore thp 3 (k) is pronounced and even written<br />

ci?(g).<br />
