3070 The hospital toy libraries as a space for health, care and education<br />

The DGP-CNPq Multidisciplinary Research Group on Lucidity, Education<br />

and Health proposes to discuss the relationship between health,<br />

care and education, with the ludic component as an essential element<br />

in the humanization process of the hospital environment. The Hospital<br />

Toy Libraries in Salva<strong>do</strong>rBA are studied, aiming to i<strong>de</strong>ntify and diagnose<br />

the state of the art of existence and operation in such spaces.<br />

Cristiane Cavalcanti brings the interfaces between Ludic and Health,<br />

revealing an outlook of the implementation of hospital toy libraries in<br />

This project, begun in 2005, is from a group of toy librarians researchers<br />

of different training areas coordinated by Ms. A<strong>de</strong>lai<strong>de</strong> Rezen<strong>de</strong><br />

<strong>de</strong> Souza, who works with children and youngsters in the city of<br />

Rio <strong>de</strong> Janeiro, most of them from a lower socio-economic class. Play<br />

is focused through its different ways of expression, recalling traditional<br />

games, creating toys and games. The activities are conducted in<br />

the city. Lívia Lobo presents the case study “Ludic ways in health care:<br />

a toy library case study in Aliança Hospital”. Keiko Sasaki <strong>de</strong>als with the<br />

education in healthcare environments, with a ludic perspective. The<br />

discussion about multiple possibilities of allying ludic to health, care<br />

and education of children in internment, seeks to incentive the consolidation<br />

of environments duly humanized, that respect the specificity<br />

of childhood.<br />

2999 Let’s play? Occupational therapy and the facilitation of social participation for the child with disabilities<br />

This study used the comprehension of play by D. W. Winnicott (1896-<br />

1971) as an intermediate area of experience and relaxation in the human<br />

task of maintaining the inner and outer realities separate and interrelated.<br />

Aimed to present and reflect upon play in the occupational<br />

therapy process with children who have disabilities. The investigation<br />

based on a research proposal, from the epistemological point of view,<br />

subject-subject and his activities, establishment of triadic relationship<br />

in the occupational therapy. Four children participated, with their stories<br />

and parts built in the occupational therapy process. A field diary<br />

was used to record the events in the clinic, open interview with relatives<br />

and <strong>do</strong>cument reading. Results pointed to the relevance of play<br />

for the evaluation of indicating the occupational therapy, the initial and<br />

continuous evaluation of the patient and the actions aimed at facilitating<br />

the social participation of the individuals atten<strong>de</strong>d.<br />
