L’azienda Santacroce è una delle poche che in Calabria crede in questa modalità di coltivazione; infatti, 3 dei suoi 5 ha sono in fuori suolo. «Siamo in fase di sperimentazione – spiega Santacroce – perché si devono ancora mettere a punto i dettagli. I vantaggi, a mio parere, sono numerosi e riguardano la più puntuale gestione della nutrizione con l’opportunità di migliorare la qualità del prodotto dal punto di vista nutrizionale e salutistico. Da non sottovalutare anche le migliori condizioni degli operatori che effettuano le operazioni ad altezza di braccio».
