Va alla pinza collaborativa
l’Hermes Award 2017
L’Hermes Award 2017 è stato
assegnato all’azienda tedesca
SCHUNK, allo stesso tempo azienda
a conduzione familiare e global
player. Il premio, che è uno dei
più prestigiosi riconoscimenti
internazionali per la tecnologia più
innovativa, è stato consegnato
allo specialista in sistemi di presa
il 23 aprile, nella cornice della
cerimonia di inaugurazione della
Hannover Messe. SCHUNK ha
ricevuto il premio per la pinza JL1:
un modulo di presa intelligente e
sicuro per la collaborazione uomorobot
che interagisce e comunica
direttamente con l’operatore.
I sensori incorporati nella pinza
rilevano l’avvicinarsi della persona
e attivano automaticamente
una soluzione protettiva. I sensori,
inoltre, consentono al modulo di
afferrare, manipolare e assemblare
con grande flessibilità oggetti con
ogni tipo di geometria attraverso
una presa parallela o attraverso
una presa centrica. Le dita della
pinza dispongono di ganasce di
regolazione della forza di presa
e di sensori tattili capacitivi che
supportano operazioni di presa
adattive. Due sistemi di telecamere
assicurano il monitoraggio continuo
dell’ambiente circostante in 3D
aiutando la rilevazione delle parti
da afferrare.
Collaborative grippers
win 2017 Hermes Award
This year’s Hermes Award winner is
German company SCHUNK, both
an owner-operated German family
business and a global player. The
Hermes Award is one of the world’s
most prestigious industrial technology
awards, and SCHUNK a global leader
in innovative gripping systems. The
award was presented during the
Hannover Messe Opening Ceremony
on 23 April.
SCHUNK’s JL1 co-act gripper is an
intelligent modular gripping system
for human-robot collaboration that
is capable of directly interacting
and communicating with its human
operator. The JL1’s integrated sensor
systems effectively envelop the
module in its own safety “bubble”
by continually tracking the proximity
of humans and triggering evasive
action to avoid any direct humanmachine
contact. They also enable
the module to grip, handle and
assemble objects of all geometries.
The module’s jaws are able to
measure gripping force and have
tactile sensors, so their operation is
highly adaptive and responsive. The
sensor constellation also includes two
cameras that enable the gripper to
see its surroundings in 3D and help it
to detect workpieces.
Un altro anno
di grande crescita
L’azienda tedesca DELO ha
diffuso gli ultimi risultati finanziari.
Le vendite sono salite a 95
milioni di euro al 31 marzo 2017,
termine dell’anno fiscale, in
crescita del 18% rispetto all’ultimo
risultato. Ancora una volta, i
driver di crescita a doppia cifra
dell’azienda sono le industrie
automotive, elettronica e
dell’aviazione.
Le vendite fuori dalla Germania
hanno conosciuto un aumento
significativo, con la Cina, in crescita
del 67%, che ha rimpiazzato
la Germania come mercato
principale. DELO - specializzata
nella produzione di adesivi e
sistemi di incollaggio industriale -
ha generato il 73% delle vendite
complessive fuori dalla Germania.
“Per molti anni, quello cinese è
stato il nostro secondo mercato
più importante ed era soltanto
una questione di tempo perché
si concretizzasse il sorpasso sulla
Germania”, ha detto l’ing. Wolf-
Dietrich Herold, managing partner
di DELO.
Another year
with strong growth
The German company DELO
released its latest financial results.
Sales climbed to €95 million, thus
marking the end of the fiscal year
on March 31, 2017. That’s an 18
percent gain over the last fiscal
year. Once again, the company’s
growth drivers with clear doubledigit
numbers turned out to be the
automotive industry, electronics
and aviation.
Revenues from overseas rose in
particular, with China rocketing
up by 67 percent and replacing
Germany as the company’s
most important market. DELO - a
leading manufacturer of industrial
adhesives and equipment systems
- generated 73 percent of its total
sales outside Germany.
“For many years, China was our
second largest market and it
was only a question of time until
it caught up with and surpassed
Germany,” says Dr.-Ing. Wolf-
