all’internazionalizzazione sono molto importanti. Però
devono essere accompagnati da piani di innovazione
promossi dalle singole aziende: altrimenti, solo guardando
ai mercati, sarà difficile vendere. In altre parole,
indipendentemente da dove le macchine vengono
esportate, è fondamentale avere prodotti che portino
innovazione. Poi le vendite arrivano di conseguenza.
Internazionalizzazione sì, insomma, ma senza trascurare
ricerca e innovazione…
così forte dell’associazione in alcuni tavoli importanti
portare risultati concreti agli associati. Poi vedremo
come poterci spingere anche più lontano. Credo,
on March 16, was exceptionally positive in terms of
participation: however, we can do more and more to
involve our associates. Also the magazine (Soluzioni di
Assemblaggio & Meccatronica) is a very important tool,
as proven by the survey presented at the last Assembly.
In recent years, AIdAM has invested a lot and made
important efforts to foster an internationalization path.
Do you think that you should continue on this road?
Especially for assembly machinery manufacturers, but
not only them, the efforts for internationalization are
very important. However, they have to be supported by
innovation plans promoted by individual companies:
otherwise, just looking at markets, selling would be
difficult. In other words, regardless of where the machines
are exported, it is crucial to have products that bring
innovation. Sales come in accordingly.
Internationalization, in short, but without neglecting
research and innovation ...
The market rewards us because we are able to transfer
our competitiveness and innovation to our customers. This
pushes us to innovate and be always ready to change.
Until now, at an association level, a lot of work has been
done, and I would like to say that such a strong presence
of the association in some important tables abroad is a
great achievement. More specifically, I think it is more
effective to focus on geographically closer missions, which
might bring concrete results to our associates. Then, we
will see how further we can go. I believe that our initiatives
should be conceived for the benefit of all the associates.
It would be interesting to support sales missions with
technology scouting initiatives: visiting incubators or areas
where technology is developed and innovation is being
made. Seeing, dealing with these realities means that
entrepreneurs can open their horizons, perhaps change
their mind and understand where the true value of a
business is. Because our added value lies in creating ideas.
In your opinion, what an association like AIdAM
should be today?
A trade association is an institution that allows an industry
to grow. It is a kind of incubator, where its entrepreneurs
should share best cases and worst cases, without
considering others as mere competitors. Growth resulting
from sharing concerns the whole industry, not a single
company, so meeting and discussion are essential.
Compared to other associations, ours is quite small, but we
are second to none. Since its foundation, AIdAM has been
at the forefront with innovative ideas and a clear vision. I
want to give continuity to all this.
Both as a company, Cosberg, and as a family, you have
always proven to strongly believe in being part of an
association. What has pushed you, and continues to push
you, to invest more and more time and resources in these
activities?
We are firmly convinced that the growth of an industry
benefits anyone who is part of it. And something similar
can be said about the relationship between business
and territory: the search for profits should not be the only
goal for a company. You need to invest in people, in
training. Open your company to students, for example.
You should not be afraid to spend time on activities that
