“In the relationship with foreign customers, being
recognized as Italian manufacturers is certainly an
advantage: competence, knowledge and flexibility
are characteristics that distinguish us as compared to
other nations.
Flexibility, especially, can make a difference in
today’s business world and derives from an openness
of spirit that is typical of being Italian”. Is the wave of
Industry 4.0 changing something in the daily work of
a company like ABL Automazione? “The traceability
of each processing stage, a key factor for us for ten
years now, has now become essential not only in the
automotive industry”, says the managing director
Gilberto Ivano Bernuzzi. “Any machine produced
must be capable to show, for any component, when
it was produced, with what material, what tests were
performed, and so forth. Then, there is the key aspect
of production data management by the companies
using the systems we manufacture. In this context, I
believe, there is still work to do”.

L’ondata dell’Industria 4.0 sta cambiando qualcosa
nel lavoro quotidiano di un’azienda come ABL Automazione?
“La tracciabilità di ogni fase della lavorazione,
un aspetto per noi fondamentale da una
decina d’anni, è oggi diventato imprescindibile non
solo nel settore automotive”, ci dice il managing director
Gilberto Ivano Bernuzzi. “Qualsiasi macchina
prodotta deve essere in grado di mostrare, per qualsiasi
componente, quando è stato prodotto, con
che materiale, a quali controlli è stato sottoposto, e
così via. C’è, poi, l’aspetto fondamentale della gestione
dei dati di produzione da parte delle aziende
utilizzatrici degli impianti che noi realizziamo. In questo
ambito, credo, c’è ancora da lavorare”.
