on the other hand, it is a slow but
general sense of recovery in the
Italian economy and manufacturing.
The coming months will surely be
crucial to understand the quality of
the government measures. It should
be noted, at least for us and our
customers, that there is a fracture
between what is required by the
regulatory package to consider the
good “4.0” and what Industry 4.0
represents for manufacturers. We
have been implementing many
of the technical solutions in the
package for several years now. I’m
thinking of the automotive industry
and factors such as teleservice, PLC
use, and machine interconnection
on intranet and internet networks.
I think this is a youthful flaw in the
regulatory package that will be
corrected in the coming years, after
understanding how the government will proceed on
these issues. In my opinion, thinking of having only one
year and then not refinancing, even remodelling, the
incentive measures would generate a solitary action with
little impact on the industrial fabric, which needs more
time to assimilate certain concepts and investments.
What are the most important steps that TMP Engineering
might take in the near future?
As cliché as it may sound, we want to continue growing,
and we will do it in a healthy way. Our project is to grow
every year by 15%, which means a doubling of turnover
every 5 years. This is definitely ambitious, but we believe
we can do it. The manufacturing world will increasingly
need automation and we think that the lower cost of
robots will help their use in tertiary areas where today
they are virtually non-existent.
We are also working by small steps on several
internationalization projects with the support of AIdAM.
We started the project Serbia three years ago, and
last year I was appointed president of the Italian
Serbian Cooperation Platform (ISCP), a platform for
cooperation between Italian and Serbian institutions and
corporations. Last year we started the Czech Republic
project, where we have a contact person who is starting
to do marketing activities and is already delivering some
results. Finally, we are looking at Iran with interest and
this year we will begin to take a few steps in this direction
as well. In short, we are sure of operating in an industry,
mechatronics, where Italy is one the world’s major
players.

re su questi temi. A mio avviso pensare di avere un solo
anno e poi non rifinanziare, anche rimodulando, gli strumenti
incentivanti significherebbe aver generato un’azione
solitaria di poco impatto per il tessuto industriale, che
richiede tempi più lunghi per assimilare determinati concetti
e investimenti.
Quali sono i passi più importanti che potrà fare
TMP Engineering nel prossimo futuro?
Sarà banale dirlo, ma vogliamo continuare a crescere, e
volgiamo farlo in modo sano. Il nostro progetto è quello di
crescere ogni anno del 15%, questo significa ogni 5 anni
un raddoppio del fatturato. Un obiettivo sicuramente
ambizioso, ma siamo convinti di potercela fare.
Il mondo manifatturiero avrà sempre più bisogno di automazione
e pensiamo che la diminuzione del costo
dei robot ne favorirà il loro utilizzo anche in ambiti terziari
dove oggi sono praticamente assenti. Stiamo anche lavorando
a piccoli passi su diversi progetti di internazionalizzazione
con il supporto di AIdAM. Abbiamo avviato tre
anni fa il progetto Serbia, e dallo scorso anno sono presidente
della ISCP (Italian Serbian Cooperation Platform),
una piattaforma di cooperazione tra aziende e istituzioni
italiane e serbe. Abbiamo avviato lo scorso anno il progetto
Repubblica Ceca, dove abbiamo una figura di riferimento
che sta iniziando a fare un lavoro di marketing
e portando già qualche risultato.
Stiamo, infine, guardando all’Iran con interesse e
quest’anno inizieremo a muovere qualche passo anche
in questa direzione.Siamo convinti, insomma, di operare
in un settore, quello della meccatronica, dove l’Italia è
tra i leader al mondo.
