NEWS © Messe Berlin GmbH Third IFA+ Summit Fosters Thought Leadership © Messe Berlin GmbH IHS Markit Leverages ShowStoppers at IFA to Launch Innovation Awards This year, for the first time, the IHS Markit Innovation Awards will be announced and presented at ShowStoppers at IFA, as the first in a series of similar events at other major trade shows around the world. ShowStoppers@IFA takes place the day before IFA starts … during the press days, when reporters are looking for breaking news and compelling stories to cover at the trade fair that increasingly defines the future of digital technologies for work, home and play. "ShowStoppers events around the world are where companies break new ground in technologies for work, home and play," said Dave Leon, The prestigious Kempinski Bristol Hotel on Berlin’s Kurfürstendamm will again be the setting on Friday September 2nd for the annual EISA awards ceremony. EISA Awards are chosen annually by Expert Groups representing nearly 50 prominent Photography, Hi-Fi, Home Theatre Audio, Home Theatre Display & Video, In-Car Electronics and Mobile Devices magazines from 22 European countries. This year’s event will take on a different aspect, as from June 2016 Paul Miller, group editor of Hi-Fi News and Home Cinema Choice magazines, took partner, ShowStoppers.
