I NEWS I TCL "inspires

I NEWS I TCL "inspires greatness" with new display breakthroughs at IFA TCL is back at IFA and aiming to live up to its motto to "inspire greatness" by demonstrating the brand's ongoing efforts to unlock breakthroughs in display technology. "Display is one of our core capabilities," said TCL's Chief Commercial Officer Frederic Langin, "and we continue to develop and evolve a number of technologies around it." Mini LED is just one of those technologies. At last year's show TCL impressed visitors with its jaw-dropping 98-inch TCL QD-Mini LED TV. The brand is unveiling an even larger version at IFA this year. The 115-inch TCL Premium QD- Mini LED TV, with 20,000+ local dimming zones, HDR, 5000+ nits peak brightness, QLED technology, and an ultra slim design, provides stunning brightness and colour accuracy, all in an XXL format. The brand is also showcasing its Micro LED screen the Cinema Wall 163-inch, an evolved version of the Cinema Wall shown at IFA last year, with Ultra HD 4K definition, peak light of 1,700 nits, and Dolby Vision HDR compatibility. Apart from super big TVs, TCL has made other major strides in display, deploying tech to deliver new formats and uses that stem beyond pure TV viewing. Unveiled this year is a 3D TV for medical use, and what TCL is calling a full-colour electronic paper display using its NXTPAPER technology. With a matte paperlike quality, this smartphone display eliminates harmful blue light and glare. Yet another focus area for TCL when it comes to display is gaming, offering gamers TVs with excellent refresh rates and resolution. TCL is also launching an immersive audio experience with Dolby Atmos FlexConnect, seamlessly pairing TV sound systems with wireless speakers Hall 21 / Stand 101 YOU ARE PLANTING A TREE BY READING THIS MAGAZINE!
