Judging the competition is a list of luminaries, such as Rudolf Schenker, guitarist and founder of the Scorpions; and Pepe Danquart, Oscar winning film director and producer; and a separate technical jury. Doors open at 7 PM with the event starting at 8:45 PM on both nights. On 4 th and 5 th of September 2009, the world’s best pyro-technicians will meet for the fourth time in Berlin. With its stunning premiere in 2006, the Pyronale has become THE event for watching fireworks. Since it’s opening, visitors to Mme Tussaud’s have been fascinated by the 75 wax celebrities there. Visitors start their tour in the History Zone, meeting important historical figures. Next stop is the Culture Zone, where visitors can interact with Beethoven. In the Behind the Scenes Zone, visitors learn how Marie Tussaud began sculpting during the French Revolution using decapitated heads. Next stop is the music zone, where you can remember Michael Jackson. The tour comes to an end in Hollywood, where you can mingle with VIPs and Hollywood A-listers. You will also be able to see the recently unveiled President Obama’s wax sculpture. Opening hours are 10 AM to last entry at 6 PM. The attraction takes approximately 1.5 hours.
