ženi mogućem trovanju olovom (n = 33). Katalitička koncentracija NAG<br />

i koncentracija EP izmjerene su spektrofluorometrijskim metodama,<br />

D-DALK standardiziranom metodom koja se primjenjuje u Europi i<br />

olovo metodom elektrotermičke atomske apsorpcijske spektrometrije.<br />

Rezultati su pokazali da se katalitičke koncentracije NAG u serumu<br />

i mokraći ne razlikuju značajno od vrijednosti u kontrolnoj skupini.<br />

Rezultati PbK, D-DALK i EP u 33 ispitivana djelatnika pokazuju da<br />

je razina njihove apsorpcije olova unutar granica za našu opću populaciju,<br />

a pogotovo unutar dopustivih bioloških graničnih vrijednosti za<br />

profesionalnu izloženost olovu (PbK 400 (ig/L, D-DALK 151 J/L Ere,<br />

EP 2,67 iimol/L Ere). Preporuča se da se u djelatnika koji su profesionalno<br />

izloženi olovu nakon određenog vremena kontrolira koncentracija<br />

primijenjenih pokazatelja toksičnog djelovanja olova i na taj način<br />

spriječi razvoj nepovratnih promjena u organizmu.<br />

EVOKED POTENTIALS IN 23 DAYS METHADONE<br />

TREATED RATS<br />

Methadone is a svnthetic analgetic and a derivate of heptanone.<br />

It serves as substitute drug for heroine abusers. Methadone has analgetic,<br />

sedative and antitussive action and exerts hvpnotic and euphoric<br />

action as well. The mechanism of the drug action is still poorlv<br />

understood, especiallv in diabetic individuals. Hyperglycaemia is a<br />

causative factor for various neuropathies. We studied somatosensorv<br />

evoked potentials (SEPs), simultaneouslv recorded in healthv and diabetic<br />

Wistar rats treated 23 days with methadone (0,87 mg/kg) per os<br />

daily. Diabetes was induced by alloxan monohydrate (75 mg/kg b.w.i.v).<br />

Our computerized method with adapted struetures of hardware and<br />

softvvare, necessary for recoding of SEPs in small animals, was used.<br />

SEPs analysis showed an enormous inerease pf P13 amplitude; furthermore,<br />

peak-to-peak amplitude P13-N20 was augmented (148%,<br />

p/0,05) in diabetic methadone treated rats. On the other hand, N29<br />

amplitude was decreased (22,2%; p/0,01). The latencies of P13, P25<br />

and P31 were significanth/ (p/0,01) prolonged (P13 to 113,9%; P25 to<br />

110,1% and P31 to 111,9%). The same waves were affected in the<br />
