Rezultati dosadašnje procjene troponina T pokazali su da troponinT:<br />

1. ima visoku osjetljivost i specifičnost poglavito u bolesnika s<br />

pridruženom ozljedom skeletne muskulature,<br />

<strong>2.</strong> pruža dijagnostičku vrijednost jednaku onoj koja se dobije<br />

mjerenjem CK-MB u bolesnika u ranoj fazi srčanog infarkta (unutar<br />

prva 24 sata) odnosno veću dijagnostičku vrijednost od vrijednosti CK-<br />

MB u bolesnika koji su u bolnicu došli 48 i više sati nakon infarkta,<br />

3. omogućuje dijagnozu srčanog infarkta i nakon 1-2 tjedna od<br />

početka bolova,<br />

4. omogućuje procjenu rizika za nastanak infarkta u bolesnika s<br />

nestabilnom anginom pektoris,<br />

5. neinvazivan je pokazatelj uspjeha trombolitičke terapije i<br />

6. omogućuje procjenu nastanka srčanog infarkta tijekom i nakon<br />

učinjenog operativnog zahvata aortokoronarnog premoštenja.<br />

ROUTINE METHODS FOR THE MEASUREMENT OF<br />

IMPORTANT RISK FACTORS<br />

Apolipoprotein(s) Al and B have been known for a long time as<br />

important factors for the establishment of an individual's atherosclerotic<br />

risk. Simple routine methods based on turbidimetric measurements<br />

which can be used on routine photometric analvsers, are presented<br />

and the performance data are discussed.<br />

Lp(a) in contrast to Apo Al and Apo B has for quite awhile been<br />

evaluated with respect to its value for atherosclerotic risk assessment.<br />

Only a few years ago these studies showed quite clearlv that Lp(a) is<br />

an independent risk factor for development of atherosclerotic lesions.<br />

Structure and function of Lp(a) are shown and the correlation between<br />

genetic variations and the assay response is discussed. The turbidimetric<br />

routine method is presented and it is proved that this<br />

methodologv, though simple is able to produce reliable results.<br />
