That’s summer in Lech Zürs!
Those who only know Lech Zürs covered in white very often can’t
imagine how well a fresh green suits this region. More than 350 km of
marked hiking paths lead our summer visitors across alpine meadows
in bloom, past rustic chalets and up onto the summits. Be it relaxed
walks, theme hikes like the „Grüner Ring“ (“Green Ring”) or the
Discovery Region Tannberg or more challenging hikes – you name
it – this holiday offers just the right thing for everyone – that goes for
mountain bikers, culture aficionados, gourmets and classic car fans
too. Said classic car fans meet for the Arlberg classic car rally in
Lech in order to be able to witness classic cars in action 27–30 June
2013. Guests who feel like partying can check out the dorffest (“village
fair”) at rüfiplatz (13 July), the Arlberger musikfest (26–28 July) or
the fest am berg (3 Aug.). For the sporty kind the Lech Höhenhalbmarathon
(“mountain half marathon”) (17 August) and the Transvorarlberg
marathon (25 Aug.) have a lot to offer, the traditional
philosphicum Lech (25–29 sept.) offers exercise for the mind.
