M. leave Benefits<br />

Leave benefits shall be provided in accordance with the Leave Benefits<br />

Appendix as listed on Appendix “E” and Administrative Bulletin 12, as it may<br />

be amended.<br />

N. inoculations<br />

Inoculation against childhood diseases shall be provided at no cost to the<br />

employee for any employee in the following bargaining units who desires such<br />

inoculation: <strong>Teachers</strong>, Non-Teaching Assistants, Secretaries, Parapr<strong>of</strong>essionals,<br />

Comprehensive Early Learning Center, Food Service Managers, Head Start,<br />

Per Diem <strong>Teachers</strong>, Supportive Services Assistants, and Pr<strong>of</strong>essional/Technical.<br />

O. Benefits Bulletins and Policies<br />

1. Distribution to Employees. The <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> will develop and/or update<br />

its administrative bulletins and policies describing benefits to employees under<br />

this Article and the accompanying Leave Benefits Appendix. The <strong>Federation</strong><br />

shall have the right to review each such bulletin or policy, and any insurance<br />

policy to which the bulletin or policy refers. The <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> will distribute<br />

to each employee a copy <strong>of</strong> the applicable bulletins and policies.<br />

2. Consistency with Insurance Policies and Statutes. Where a group policy<br />

is purchased by the <strong>School</strong> <strong>District</strong> to cover any benefit or where a statute is the<br />

basis for any benefit, the benefits bulletins or statements shall be consistent with<br />

such policy or statute, and, if inconsistent, the rights, privileges and duties <strong>of</strong><br />

each employee with respect to such coverage shall be governed solely by the<br />

statute or policy and not by the above statement.<br />

Article XiV<br />

Due Process Procedures<br />

A. conference Procedures<br />

1. A copy <strong>of</strong> each rating including comments by the Principal or other rating<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficer, shall be given to each employee in time to give the employee adequate<br />

opportunity to decide whether he/she desires a conference on the matter. If the<br />

employee makes such a request, the Principal or other rating <strong>of</strong>ficer shall consult<br />

with the employee about his/her rating before it is placed in the employee’s<br />

<strong>of</strong>ficial personnel file.<br />

2. The Principal or other rating <strong>of</strong>ficer may also hold a conference with an<br />

employee before or after he/she has rated the employee.<br />

3. A copy <strong>of</strong> his/her rating, as intended to be placed in the <strong>of</strong>ficial file, shall<br />

be given to each employee. Within ten (10) school days after the employee’s<br />

receipt <strong>of</strong> such copy, he/she may use either or both <strong>of</strong> the following procedures:<br />

(a) The employee may furnish to the Principal his/her written self-evaluation,<br />

with supporting facts, in duplicate, concerning his/her rating and one (1) copy <strong>of</strong><br />

such self evaluation shall also be placed in the <strong>of</strong>ficial file, together with the<br />
