This series is produced by Grant and Susan Johnson, RTW
travellers and founders of Horizons Unlimited, who have been
helping people to achieve their dreams of traveling to faraway
places on their bikes for over 10 years. They also asked the
many veteran travellers who attend Horizons Unlimited meetings
to tell their stories, give their opinions, and share their
hard-earned knowledge from their amazing motorcycle trips to
every country on earth.
DVD 1 - Get Ready! This DVD aims to inspire you to take the plunge, and start to prepare for the trip.
This includes material from Grant and Susan Johnsons own how to ride around the world on a motorcycle
presentation.This is supplemented by scenic images and video clips, dozens of interviews with seasoned
travellers and presentations by experts.
DVD 2 - Gear Up! This DVD covers ‚the Kit‘ - the bike and all the other stuff, including which bike,
preparing the bike, what to take and how to pack it.
DVD 3 - On the Road This DVD tells you what to expect at border crossings, practicalities, safety,
health, and much more.
DVD 4 - Ladies on the Loose Motorcycle Travel for Women is directed and presented by Lois Pryce,
veteran solo traveller through South America and Africa and author of „Lois on the Loose“. She promises
us action, entertainment and hot tips.
DVD 5 - Tire Changing This 1.5 hour DVD answers all your questions, for both tube and tubeless tires:
- Getting Started: What tools?
- Getting it Off: Pulling the wheel off, Breaking the bead, Removing the tire, What‘s in the valley
- Plugs and Patches: Which types and how to use
- Getting it On: Mounting the tire, Seating the bead
- Finishing Touches: Tire pressure, Tightening the front axle, Balancing the tire
