Planned Race Appearances in 2011
The Touratech Racing team will focus on two racing series in the 2011 season. The top riders will compete
in the new World Xtreme Enduro Championship. This race series combines the five toughest extreme
enduro events: the Erzberg Rodeo, the Tough One, Hell’s Gate, Red Bull Romaniacs and Roof of Africa.
Touratech rider Gerhard Forster attracted attention last season with good rankings in three of the five
races. The racing team’s second focus will be on mass participation sports. To this end, Touratech will
increase its involvement in the ADAC Pirelli Enduro Cup so that Touratech teams compete in all the races.
The 2011 team
Two riders will compete for Touratech Racing in all the races at the World Xtreme Enduro Championship
(WXEC): Gerhard Forster and Jens ter Jung. Enduro veteran Gerhard Forster secured top places for Touratech
in the 2010 season. His new team mate Jens ter Jung has seven German trials championship titles
under his belt and several top-ten places in the Trial World Championship. As a result he is also ideally
placed for a top finish in the technically demanding WXEC events.
The two will be supported in the individual races by Alex Sedlmair, who has shown he can compete at
the international level both in long-distance motocross (Endurance Day, Dawn to Dusk) and in extreme
enduro (Erzberg).
The experienced duo Ian Rowley and Rolf Epting will compete in the ADAC Pirelli Enduro Cup races for
Touratech Racing.
