Öhlins TTX Shock Absorbers
for Husqvarna - a new world!
Öhlins Racing AB is now launching another
new product. The new TTX44 was previously a
product for a select few professional motocross
riders, but this autumn the new shock absorber
will finally be available worldwide. The TTX44
is built primarily for championship riders but
now serious private riders can also use this
masterpiece from the R&D department at
Öhlins. Motocross is the ultimate test for the R&D department with the roughest and toughest conditions.
To achieve the very best performance from this new shock absorber, one more thrilling feature has been
added the brand-new CSC (Chassis Stability Control) technology. The CSC function enables the rider to
quickly set up the bike for different track conditions. The chassis is tuned with the low speed movements
which are controlled via the CSC valve. Note! The CSC function is not to be mixed up with the conventional
rebound and compression adjusters that determine the how the damper operates depending on
weight, comfort and riding technique.

It‘s the inner values that count. The function
of a motorbike fork is determined by its inner
workings. Consequently, these also have an effect
on the function of the chassis. The cartridge
kit developed by Öhlins is a closed system and
is exchanged in return for the original interior
parts of the fork legs. The original fork legs
are retained. The 8 mm hollow shaft makes
the Öhlins cartridge kit extremely lightweight.
The diameter of the damping rod, 22 mm, is
minimised for the same reason. All other components
are manufactured from high-strength
