Öhlins TTX Shock Absorbers<br />

for Husqvarna - a new world!<br />

Öhlins Racing AB is now launching another<br />

new product. The new TTX44 w<strong>as</strong> previously a<br />

product for a select few professional motocross<br />

riders, but this autumn the new shock absorber<br />

will finally be available worldwide. The TTX44<br />

is built primarily for championship riders but<br />

now serious private riders can also use this<br />

m<strong>as</strong>terpiece from the R&D department at<br />

Öhlins. Motocross is the ultimate test for the R&D department with the roughest and toughest conditions.<br />

To achieve the very best performance from this new shock absorber, one more thrilling feature h<strong>as</strong> been<br />

added the brand-new CSC (Ch<strong>as</strong>sis Stability Control) technology. The CSC function enables the rider to<br />

quickly set up the bike for different track conditions. The ch<strong>as</strong>sis is tuned with the low speed movements<br />

which are controlled via the CSC valve. Note! The CSC function is not to be mixed up with the conventional<br />

rebound and compression adjusters that determine the how the damper operates depending on<br />

weight, comfort and riding technique.<br />

Öhlins Cartridge Kit<br />

It‘s the inner values that count. The function<br />

of a motorbike fork is determined by its inner<br />

workings. Consequently, these also have an effect<br />

on the function of the ch<strong>as</strong>sis. The cartridge<br />

kit developed by Öhlins is a closed system and<br />

is exchanged in return for the original interior<br />

parts of the fork legs. The original fork legs<br />

are retained. The 8 mm hollow shaft makes<br />

the Öhlins cartridge kit extremely lightweight.<br />

The diameter of the damping rod, 22 mm, is<br />

minimised for the same re<strong>as</strong>on. All other components<br />

are manufactured from high-strength<br />

aluminium. Other features of the cartridge kit. G<strong>as</strong>-pressurised external reservoir for the quickest damping<br />

response Simple fitting into the original front fork. Compression and rebound can be adjusted.<br />
