Cockpit cover 2 (tachometer unit) with on-board socket, BMW R 1200 GS / Adventure
The cockpit cover 2 covers the R1200GS’s tachometer unit. In addition, it features an integral, fused on-board
socket. For example, mobile phones or GPS units can thus be plugged into the cockpit directly without having
to run annoying cables around the motorbike. Because of the fused direct connection, these units can be
charged even when ignition is off. Normally this causes problems with the R1200GS. This black cover is made
from powder-coated aluminium and includes stainless steel mounts. It fits perfectly. The unit can be fitted alone
or in conjunction with the cockpit cover 1 (Item number044-0550).

The black, powder-coated aluminium cockpit cover 1 is
fitted directly underneath the windscreen and covers
the space between the tackometer unit and the
headlight unit.Stainless steel, sheet-metal mounts and a
fitting kit are included. This cover gives your R1200 GS
a new look. The unit can be fitted alone or in conjunction
with the cockpit cover 2 (Item number 044-0560).
