heart of the country at Sila National
Park. The last kilometres in Calabria
fly past. Then back over to Sicily,
from Messina back to the harbour

Many prejudices may exist over Sicily, some may even be
true. We discovered another Sicily, one that is exciting,
open, friendly and helpful.
How did Y&Y like the motorcycle tour? Quite well, we believe.
One clue could be that afterwards they always wanted
to be brought to the day care centre and kindergarten in
the sidecar. Whether they will favour philistine ways someday
because they want precisely the opposite of what their
parents are or were – adventurous and always on the way
to somewhere in the world on the motorcycle (some call that
crazy!) – remains to be seen. Whatever kind of life they decide
on is okay with us.
For Herbert‘s and my part, our new definition of happiness
is: kids AND motorbikes.
