Touratech fork springs are wound progressively, and
are much harder than the series springs. They therefore
respond more sensitively, and simply eliminate minor
unevennesses. Over large bumps or holes, the fork is
prevented almost entirely from breaking through. This
greatly increases driving safety not only on the road,
but off-road too! Installation is easy, and a TÜV certificate

Öhlins‘ shock absorber for the XT660 Ténéré
Öhlins’ shock absorbers are the best that you can
fit to your motorbike’s chassis. We have tested many
different shock absorber systems and have come to
the conclusion that Öhlins’ shock absorbers are the
first choice. Since then all our motorcycles have been
fitted with these shock absorbers. This refit has improved
the chassis considerably (when front and rear
match). All Öhlins’ shock absorbers work on the “de
carbon” principle. There are several different types of
shock absorbers that have been specially adapted to
the corresponding motor bike.

The sporty single cylinder bikes offer a wide range of
uses. As a result, the bikes are often used with bike
trousers over the boots. Under certain circumstances,
the temperature of the exhaust system in the joining
area between the manifold and the end muffler can
become so high that it is very unpleasant for the left
leg or items of clothing may be damaged. To ensure
your enjoyment from riding is not spoilt by such a silly
irritation, we are offering a small but highly effective
heat shield plate precisely for this area.

This heat shield is made from laser-cut stainless
steel. Thanks to the special construction, it can
easily be adapted to any manifold shape. Not only
does it provide heat protection, but it also protects
the endangered points of the exhaust system against
stone-chipping or in the event of fall.
