G650Xchallenge<br />

During the 2007 se<strong>as</strong>on, the <strong>Touratech</strong> Race Team<br />

had serious problems keeping the engine cool,<br />

especially on very hot days and on difficult, slow<br />

routes.<br />

Following extensive tests at the Endurance Day<br />

2007 (24-hour race) and Dawn to Dusk in<br />

Wales/UK and countless multi-hour enduros, we<br />

can now offer you the new <strong>Touratech</strong> radiator for<br />

riders with sporting ambitions and the long-distance<br />

use of the G650Xchallenge. Thanks to the much<br />

bigger fins, this radiator allows a much better airflow<br />

whilst riding, which leads to a far more effective<br />

cooling in all are<strong>as</strong>.<br />

Also, the fins on this radiator stay much cleaner.<br />

Because there is no thermostat the warm-up stage is a little longer, but the coolant flow is much improved.<br />

With this radiator, you’ll find that thermal problems on the G650Xchallenge will instantly become history.<br />

It’s a must for sports and competition use. The sport and rally radiator is fitted to the original mounting<br />

points; only the mudguard needs some slight modifications.<br />

Rekluse Z-Start automatic clutch pro<br />

for BMW G650X/F650GS<br />

The Z-Start is a replaceable automatic clutch It works by centrifugal forceto ensure smooth declutching.<br />

The clutch lever is superfluous. The Rekluse clutch conversion offers many advantages: More and better<br />

traction, less slipping, controlled riding, the underarm muscles can relax, better trial capabilities in difficult<br />

off road conditions. You will have significantly better control and can slow the back wheel down in a much<br />

more controlled, sensitive way or bring it into a drift. The <strong>Touratech</strong> Sport Enduro team w<strong>as</strong> at first very<br />

scewptical of the innovative Rekluse clutch. After the first test rides on a KTM EXC 525 that we fitted with<br />

a Rekluse Z-Start the initial scepticism turned into pure enthusi<strong>as</strong>m.<br />

The absolutely problem free functionality is brilliant.<br />

Even in difficult off road sections the clutch shows its<br />

worth with its perfect traction and the way it<br />

smoothes out conditions. You don’t have to worry<br />

about using the clutch any more and you can just<br />

concentrate on the next sections. You can no longer<br />

stall the engine and regulating traction just by using<br />

the throttle lever is almost unbelievable.<br />

Of course the Rekluse Z-Start can be replaced at<br />

any time by a “normal” clutch. Installation is e<strong>as</strong>y<br />

for the experienced amateur and can be done in<br />

about two to three hours. In our opinion the Z-Start<br />

is an absolute winner. Some people are even<br />

talking about a quantum leap. Available now on<br />

for selected models in the <strong>Touratech</strong> range.<br />
