Remote tracking solutions
Have you ever wanted to follow other vehicles additional to your own position on
your PC screen? With the so-called remote tracking capabilities of TT QV this is quite
simple! All you need is a GPS unit that can trans-mit position data of remote objects.
This can be transmitted through radio, the mobile phone network or a sa-tellite
system. Not only special hardware components can do this job but also smart phones
with suitable soft-ware (e.g. PathAway Professional, p. 237) or even a PC with TTQV
and a GPS and GSM modem connected.
TTQV‘s multi-tracking capabilities are very flexible: A travel group with several vehicles,
remote tracking of company cars and vehicle fleets, containers with corresponding
logistics benefits, protecting vehicles from theft with automatic track-recording,
safeguarding valuable construction machines or protecting people at risk.
You can always see exactly what is happening thanks to a clearly structured vehicle
table and the option to group objects in different map windows.
Using the geofencing functions of TTQV an alarm-triggering is possible when entering
or leaving preset areas. Using the event manager you can configure TTQV in
such a way that certain events trigger specific actions, such as forwarding of alarms
via fax, mobile phone or e-mail.
We have developed a range of special hardware for such applications which can be
linked perfectly to the TTQV Power User and TTQV Professional.
In addition we have hardware solutions for passive track-logging without remote
position upload.
