2.8 Miscellaneous Streams

The following assumptions apply to the miscellaneous stream amount of secondary waste
generated:
An allowance of one 55-gallon drum per month for secondary containment water is
included in the estimate
Unused Silo 3 sample material will be shipped to the same ultimate disposition as the
bulk of the Silo 3 material recovered during operations. Silo 3 material in its sampling
containers will be discarded in 55-gallon drums. An allowance of two drums is included
in the estimate.
An allowance of 5 gallons of lubricating oil is included in the estimate. One half will be
used in 6 months and the other will be generated at the end.
A 10 percent allowance for miscellaneous and currently unidentified streams is
provided in the estimate for radiologically contaminated materials.
A 25 percent allowance for miscellaneous and currently unidentified streams is
provided in the estimate for non-radiologically contaminated materials.
