• Lightly harrow the seed twice in two directions crosswise into the immediate surface.<br />

• Remove any surface stones that may be loosed by this operation <strong>and</strong> fi nally twice roll with<br />

a light fl at roller.<br />

• Water the green as necessary. All seeded areas normally require at least six satisfactory<br />

mowings of the grass before being fi nally cut to a length of 4 mm in the active growing<br />

season.<br />

• Cutting to be done with a 9 – 11 blade per cylinder cylindrical mower.<br />

• Winter Treatment:<br />

Hollow tinning <strong>and</strong> scarifying, followed by top dressing with “Lignitic Fine” (S<strong>and</strong> <strong>and</strong> Organic<br />

Mixture). Winter treatment to be completed before the middle of August each year.<br />

• Remove dry thatch regularly.<br />

Bowls<br />

• Pest control, weeds, algae, fungi <strong>and</strong> damageable insects are to be controlled on an ongoing<br />

basis.<br />

• Cut all surrounds regularly, irrigate as needed <strong>and</strong> fertilise with nitrogen <strong>and</strong> potassium<br />

once every 30 days.<br />
