You will be treated to unique panoramic views of the Tagus
as the Sea Cloud pulls out of Lisbon.The epic Monument
to the Discoveries is dedicated to Henry the Navigator. The
Torre de Belém, a UNESCO World Heritage Site resting on
the mouth of the Tagus, celebrates the country’s glory during
its time as a colonial power.
Seville – Andalusia’s picturesque capital
With its long history and a fun-loving atmosphere, Seville
is an exciting place to be. Shops selling handmade
Andalusian crafts await you in the pretty old town, the
Moorish fortified palace of Alcazar is enchanting and the
city’s cathedral is the third largest in the world, housing
the grave of Christopher Columbus.
The Alhambra palace in Granada
Before 1492, Granada was the flourishing capital of the
sultanate and the last standing Islamic stronghold on
European soil. You can still see the remnants of this era
today in the fairy-tale palace-fortress complex of the
Alhambra, the Generalife palace gardens and the
Albaicín, the city’s oldest quarter.
A fascinating mix in Valencia
Many bygone eras have left their mark on Valencia, but
this historical legacy is juxtaposed with an impressive
mixture of magnificent modern buildings. It is this vast
spectrum that gives the city its unique appeal. The offbeat
design of the opera house appears futuristic, with
the building situated in an expansive museum and park
district that stretches from the city centre all the way to
the coast. A number of beautiful beaches are also located
within the city.
