Firmly in the wind’s hands, the Sea Cloud ii sets a
course for relaxation. For five days the tall ship will be
your home on the sea. Those who wish can make use of
the gym facilities, treat themselves to a massage, or let
the sails and their imagination carry them away to new
shores. As soon as we cast off, you will feel the stresses
and strains of everyday life melt away – we doubt any
other short break could be this enjoyable.
Alghero’s old town
Strong fortification walls surround the picturesque old
town of Alghero. Magnificent city palaces, numerous
churches and winding alleyways allow you to step
back into a medieval period steeped in Catalan-Gothic
architecture. It is no wonder, as this city has Spanish
roots and has been given the charming epithet of “Little
Barcelona”. Its many pretty shops, tiny bars and delightful
restaurants are perfect for exploring and whiling away
the day.
Menorca – the pristine Balearic island
From the rugged mountain region of Tramuntana in
the north of the island, with its steep coastal areas, to
gentle rolling hills and vast sandy beaches in the south –
Menorca’s natural beauty has many faces. Es Grau is a
particular treasure – a romantic sandy bay in the north
of the island, right in the heart of a conservation area. If
you prefer the romantic setting of ancient narrow passageways,
you will find just what you are looking for in
Ciutadella, the island’s former capital.
