Mediterranean Sea
The Moorish region of andalusia, four unique Mediterranean islands
and the elegance of the Côte d‘azur: Cádiz (Seville) – Nice
Granada‘s Moor legacy
The caliphate of Granada was the last European enclave
of the Moorish world. In 1492 this small kingdom was
conquered and christianised by Spain. Now its charm lies
in the fairy-tale architecture of its Alhambra citadel and
palace and the beautiful gardens surrounding Generalife,
one of UNESCO’s World Heritage Sites.
a natural beauty – Menorca
Menorca, Mallorca’s little sister, naturally has two types of
landscape – the mountainous north with its wild, jagged
coast and the hilly south with seemingly endless sandy
beaches. Life on this island is unhurried and tranquil,
many areas are protected as nature reserves and you
will be treated to a real rarity – undeveloped beaches,
untouched green landscapes and idyllic villages.
a piece of Spain in Sardinia –
alghero and its beautiful old town
Alghero’s picturesque old town bears the mark of
Spanish architectural influences, and it has even been
lovingly nicknamed “Little Barcelona”. Countless
churches, piazzas and towers, as well as restaurants and
shops, line the route as you take a stroll through the town
or along the promenade that lies in front of the city wall.
The essence of the rich and famous –
picturesque St Tropez
This rural fishing village had become a meeting point for a
number of famous artists as early as the end of the 19th
century. Around 50 years later it was the high society’s
turn to discover the picturesque beauty of this little town
nestled on the Côte d’Azur – and they never left. Now the
elite meet in the elegant Port Grimaud, along the harbour
promenade or in one of the many beach clubs.
