Tropical paradise, idyllic stopovers and freedom beneath
the sails: Antigua – Barbados
The British Virgin Islands –
a sailor‘s paradise
For many, the waters surrounding the British Virgin Islands
are one of the most beautiful places to sail in the world,
with perfect wind conditions, endless turquoise sea, and
views of several small islands. However, the area is also
marked by its perfect natural harbours, its magnificent
white beaches, and a passage whose sailing legacy is
already signified by its name – the Sir Francis Drake
Channel.
“The Baths” – imposing granite
formations
In Virgin Gorda you will find one of nature’s most beautiful
phenomena – “The Baths” National Park. Huge, rounded
granite blocks, both on the beach and in the water,
provide a breathtaking backdrop to any beach activity.
Day at the beach with barbecue on
Jost van Dyke
It seems as though Jost van Dyke was the birthplace of
effortless relaxation; barefoot, of course, in soft white
sand. Our zodiacs take you to a picture-perfect beach
where you can do as you please: snorkelling, swimming,
sunbathing or dreaming under the palms. And there is
also the beach barbecue in “Ivan’s Stress-Free Bar”.
Dominica – the caribbean‘s tropical
side
A hike through the Cabrits National Park allows you to
enjoy the island‘s luscious tropical setting. The walk is
led by Dr Lennox Honeychurch, an anthropologist who
has written several books about Dominica. He is also a
painter, lecturer, and a researcher.
