Three golf courses, four days at sea
It is always great when two passions come together so
perfectly! Spend four magnificent days at sea basking
in the glow of white sails. Gazing at the deep blue
ocean is the ideal way to relax. But those who wish
can also learn a few golfing tips from a professional or
get themselves ready for the next round. Wherever the
Sea Cloud ii drops anchor, it is only a short walk from
the gangway to the golf course.
If you are travelling on trip SCII-1344, you also have the
option of booking our golfing package as well. Three
specially selected greens await you – on the Costa del Sol,
in Andalusia and on the outskirts of Lisbon.

Club de Golf La Cala, Málaga
Your opening round on 7 November will by no means
be an easy game. The uneven ground of La Cala’s golf
course can play tricks on the eye. This brilliantly laid out
18-hole golf course opened in 2005 and was designed by
Cabell Robinson, a former student of Robert Trent Jones.
It is located halfway between the Mediterranean and the
Sierra de Mijas National Park. As this course often runs
parallel to the Ojén river, golfers should choose their clubs
wisely. Par 71, minimum handicap 28/36
Montecastillo Golf, Cádiz
The first-class course at Montecastillo in Jerez de la Frontera
was designed by Jack Nicklaus. It offers interesting options
for long hitters, demands a high level of precision and is
an exciting experience for beginners and advanced golfers
alike. Water hazards and bunkers surround neatly kept
greens. This course hosted the Turespaña Masters in
1994 and 1996, from 1997 to 2001 it was home to the
Volvo Masters – and your round starts here on 8 November.
Par 72, 28 handicap for men and 36 for women
Penha Longa Golf Club, Lisbon
On 10 November, we head to the Sintra and Cascais
nature reserves, located half an hour away from Lisbon.
Here you will find the Penha Longa Golf Club. It is one of
the 30 best golf courses on mainland Europe. The man
who built it, Robert Trent Jones, Jr., made sure the course
was integrated perfectly into the topographical features
of this hilly landscape. The course itself is marked by
precise tee offs, brave approach shots and ornate greens.
