Useful information.
Bicycles:
Bicycles are available on board the RiveR Cloud ii free
of charge.
Boutique:
The boutique on each yacht provides accessories, clothes
and gifts. These can be purchased on board or via our
website www.seacloud.com.
Cabin fittings:
On all of our ships, each cabin is equipped with a direct-dial
telephone, a safe in the wardrobe and an assortment of soft
drinks, which are available free of charge. In the bathroom
you will find a selection of luxury toiletries, as well as
bathrobes, slippers and a hair dryer. Cabins on board the
Sea Cloud ii and RiveR Cloud ii are also equipped with
a television, a DVD player and a radio.
Changes of schedule:
Even with the most meticulous route planning, changes to
the itinerary may be necessary due to weather conditions,
water levels or other unforeseeable circumstances. On the
RiveR Cloud ii, water levels may make it necessary to
cover some sections by bus instead of by ship. You will be
kept informed on board about any necessary changes.
Computer/e-mail/Internet:
A laptop is available free of charge in the library
(RiveR Cloud ii and Sea Cloud ii) or the lounge
(Sea Cloud). You can access the Internet using an
access code (Wi-Fi) with this laptop or your own laptop.
This is subject to a charge. You can get the code from the
reception or the purser.
Currency on board:
The currency on board is the EURO (€). All the main credit
cards (MasterCard, VISA, American Express and Diners
Club) as well as German EC cards and traveller’s cheques
are accepted.
Dietary requirements:
We are happy to take into account your requests in terms
of dietary requirements. Please inform us of these well
before your voyage.
Dress code:
You are free to choose your own style – whether you prefer
casual or a sophisticated summer look. The captain’s
dinner is the only time when our guests tend to opt for a
more elegant style.
Electric voltage:
The voltage on board is 220 V. Each bathroom is equipped
with a razor socket.
Gratuities:
Gratuities are not included in the cruise-only rate and
are at each passenger’s discretion. At the end of the
voyage, designated tip envelopes will be available. As a
guideline, we suggest € 12 per person per day on the
RiveR Cloud ii and € 14 per person per day on the
Sea Cloud and the Sea Cloud ii.
Languages on board:
The languages used on board are German and English.
Daily programmes, menus, announcements and shore
excursions are written or carried out in English.
