ARTICLE 34 LOCAL 721 COUNTY-WIDE JOINT LABOR-MANAGEMENT<br />

The parties agree to establish a Local 721 <strong>County</strong>-wide Joint Labor-Management<br />
Committee to consult in accordance with the Employee Relations Ordinance<br />
[5.040.090 (A)] on productivity enhancement, training, bilingual staffing, clerical<br />
classification structure, contracting out, child care, and other issues of mutual concern.<br />
The Committee shall be limited to a total of ten (10) members <strong>County</strong>wide, unless the<br />
parties mutually agree otherwise. Five (5) members shall be appointed by Management<br />
and a total of five (5) members representing all Local 721 Units shall be appointed by the<br />
<strong>Executive</strong> Director, Local 721, SEIU.<br />
The committee shall have the authority to develop its own internal procedures, including the<br />
scheduling of meetings and use of consultants. Management shall provide pertinent<br />
information as provided for under the Employee Relations Ordinance and the Public<br />
Records Act.
