The order of the three tasks and the order of the valence blocks<br />

(positive, negative, neutral) within the task blocks was counterbalanced across<br />

participants. Two sets of stimuli were created and their use as study items or<br />

distractors at test was counterbalanced across participants. The choice of<br />

photographs presented for each task was counterbalanced across participants<br />

from three different matched selections of groups of photographs.<br />
