Administering the <strong>SAS</strong> Metadata Server Log and Audit Trail R Disable Repository Auditing 75<br />

1 In <strong>SAS</strong> Management Console, expand the Metadata Manager and the Active<br />

Server nodes.<br />

All repositories that are registered on the <strong>SAS</strong> Metadata Server are displayed in<br />

the navigation tree.<br />

2 Right-click the repository name and select Audit.<br />

3 In the Audit Properties dialog box, follow these steps:<br />

a Select the Enable Auditing check box.<br />

b Select a type from the Audit Type drop-down list. To see a description of<br />

each type, click Help.<br />

c In the Audit Path field, specify the path where the audit file is to be saved<br />

(or click Browse to browse to the location).<br />

d Click OK .<br />

Disable Repository Auditing<br />

To disable repository auditing, follow these steps:<br />

1 In <strong>SAS</strong> Management Console, expand the Metadata Manager and the Active<br />

Server nodes.<br />

All repositories that are registered on the <strong>SAS</strong> Metadata Server are displayed in<br />

the navigation tree.<br />

2 Right-click the repository name and select Audit.<br />

3 In the Audit Properties dialog box, follow these steps:<br />

a Clear the Enable Auditing check box.<br />

b Clear the Audit Path field.<br />

c Click OK .<br />

If you are disabling repository auditing in preparation for a server restore, repeat<br />

these steps for each repository that is registered on the <strong>SAS</strong> Metadata Server.
