INSPECTION AND REPAIR
4. Attach:
(YU-33210)
Onto the crankshaft journal surface.
NOTE:
Do not turn the crankshaft until clearance
measurement has been completed.
5. Install:
Bearings
lower crankcase.
6. Tighten:
Tighten to full torque in torque sequence as
shown.
* With a washer
7. Remove:
10 mm Bolts (Crankcase):
40 Nm (4.0m-kg, 29 ft-lb)
Reverse assembly order.
Crankcase (lower)
Use care in removing.
8. Measure:
Width of
Out of specification Replace bearings;
repI ace crankshaft if necessary.
Main Bearing Oil Clearance:
0.020-0.044 mm
(0.0008 0.0017 in)
