FRONT AND REAR BRAKE<br />

BRAKE ONLY:<br />

Be sure to position the shim so that its<br />

arrow mark points in the rotating direction<br />

of the disc plate rotation.<br />

CALIPE SASSEMBLY<br />

1. Remove:<br />

Pads<br />

Refer to "CALIPER PAD<br />

ME section.<br />

2. Remove:<br />

hose<br />

Place the open hose end into a container and<br />

pump the old fluid out carefully.<br />

3. Remove:<br />

Caliper<br />

Never loosen the bridge bolts on either side<br />

of the caliper.<br />

4. Remove:<br />

Dust seals<br />

Piston seals<br />

By the following removal steps.<br />

Caliper piston removal steps:<br />

a of wooden board into the<br />

caliper to lock the right side piston.<br />

compressed air into the tube joint<br />

opening to force out the left side piston<br />

from the caliper body.<br />

Repeat previous step t o force out the right<br />

side piston from the caliper body.<br />
