-- ENGINE ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT 2. Install: clutch gear Woodruff key Be sure to remove any oil and or grease from the tapered portion of the crankshaft and rotor with a thinner. 3. Install: Flywheel NOTE: When installing the flywheel, do not allow the oil baffle plate to touch the projections on the flywheel. 4. Install: Plain washer Bolt (flywheel) NOTE: Check for clot of oil passage in the bolt. If any, clean the oil passage. 5. Install: Bolt (Flywheel): 130 Nm (13.0 94 idle gears 6. Install: pins Gasket Crankcase cover (left) NOTE: Tighten the bolts in a crisscross pattern. Crankcase Cover (Left): 10 Nm (1.0 7.2 I 3-70
3-71 ENGINE ASSEMBLY AND ADJUSTMENT CYLINDER HEAD AND CAMSHAFT Rear Cylinder Head 1. Install: Dowel pins Gasket Rear cam chain guide NOTE: gasket "HEAD" mark should the upward. lower end of chain guide must rest in the cam chain guide slot in the crankcase. 2. Cylinder head Pass cam chain through cam chain cavity. Nuts (cylinder head) Use 8 mm Wrench Adapter (YM-28897). NOTE: sequence as shown and torque nuts in two stages. Never lubricate the bolt threads with engine oil. Nuts (Cylinder Head): 43 Nm (4.3 kg, 31 3. Install: Water jacket joints NOTE: Be sure each joint passes through itscorresponding cam chain.
