b = a num eral on the gear case (i.e. 83.50)<br />

Exam ple:<br />

) If final drive shaft gear is m arked “+01”<br />

A = 84.01 - 83.50<br />

= 0.51<br />

I) Therefore, shim thickness is 0.51 m m .<br />

Shim sites are supplied in fo lowing thicknesses:<br />

mm increm ents, round off hundredths digit<br />

and select appropriate shim(s).<br />

you, how ever, to round off the 1 to 0<br />
